Spring wedding at Kingsettle Stud
Nestled within the 2,500-acre Chalderton Estate — a fully organic, regenerative farm — Kingsettle Stud is a truly unique wedding venue on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border. For E&J’s special day, we were given a brief that perfectly complemented the natural beauty and charm of the location, leading us to create two striking floral installations.
The venue offers several stunning ceremony spots across its grounds, allowing couples to tailor their day to reflect their personal style. On a glorious sunny day in May, we designed a lush, broken floral arch in the walled garden, framing a beautifully aged wooden door full of character. Guests walked through blooming peony bushes on their way to the ceremony, adding a touch of magic to the moment. After the vows, we relocated the floral pillars to the main reception area, where they were transformed into a photobooth backdrop.
The reception took place in The Carriage Room — a versatile space that serves as a blank canvas for bespoke styling. We suspended a dramatic 2.5-metre hanging floral cloud above the top table, positioned right at the entrance to make a bold first impression. This installation demonstrated how investing in a single show-stopping feature can elevate the entire design, enhance photography, and draw the eye. To complement the hanging arrangement, we lined the banquette tables with simple bud vases for an elegant and cohesive look.
To top it all off, the venue offer some beautifully, individual accomadation options for you and your guests.
We look forward to heading back to Kingsettle stud soon..
