peaches and pink for Lily and Jack at Pylewell Park July 2025

Jack and Lily’s mid-summer wedding at Pylewell Park was a beautiful mix of elegance, English country garden charm, and playful Indian touches. Lily looked stunning in her lehenga (designer Seema Gujral), easily our favourite dress of the year, and the day felt stylish, vibrant, and full of life.

Determined to marry outside — and with views over the Solent, the natural “arena” formed by Pylewell’s mature front-lawn trees, and the backdrop of the house itself — the ceremony was unforgettable. We designed their wedding flowers using dahlias, snapdragons, scabious, and phlox, to name just a few, all grown on our plot just a couple of miles away on the edge of the New Forest. A few unexpected gusts required last-minute adjustments to the plinth arrangements, but everything stayed perfectly in place without disrupting the moment.

The colour palette of soft peaches, pinks, and bursts of orange was carried through all the bouquets, aisle arrangements, and table florals, keeping the day cohesive, fresh, and summery — a perfect match for Pylewell’s landscaped grounds. In the pavilion, we dressed the chandeliers with mixed seasonal foliage, creating mini-explosions of greenery and flowers suspended over the dining tables, bringing a little of the outside in.

As the ceremony ended and the Indian drumming band kicked off, the party came alive. The brief was elegant and fun — and that is exactly what it was.
